In my lifetime, six dogs have lived in their house (seven when you include my sister’s dog, which frequently visits and is a heavy shedder), and all dogs loved to lay on the furniture and sift through copious amounts of dirt. My parents own an entire central vacuum system that we thought was pretty excellent but when we moved the Bissell to the second floor, which is totally carpeted, our eyes were blown by how much fur and dirt accumulated. (Before you think we’re just dirty people who never vacuum, my dad vacuums the whole house every week at least.) The canister was filled with fur from Fiona Our Westie and Ellie, the Pekingese Both of them passed away in the year 2019. The canister was filled with everything in it. It was easy to empty the canister and clean it up. Also, it has the Febreze filter in it that left a lovely smell that lasted about two days.
